Founder / HR Career Consultant
Christina Edwards is an award-winning Human Resources professional and the Founder of C3 Career Consulting, LLC also known as C3®. C3® is a Certified Black Woman-Owned Business within the Supplier Diversity Program, as well as a Certified City-Based Business with the Small and Minority Business Enterprise (SMBE).
As a Bridgeport, CT native, Christina learned how to navigate life as a first-generation college student and the first person in her family to work in both Corporate America and Tech. Throughout her career, she he has held various Human Resources (HR) positions such as an HR Analyst, Chief of Staff to the Vice President (VP) of HR, Global Diversity & Inclusion (GD&I) Consultant, and Senior HR Business Partner (Sr HRBP).
Outside of Christina’s full-time job, she founded C3 Career Consulting, LLC in 2018 because she did not see enough people that looked like her in professional spaces and wanted to change that. C3’s mission is to “close the racial, gender, and pay equity gap by helping underrepresented professional transition into enjoyable careers that maximize their income.” Since then, Christina has performed HUNDREDS of services to clients from all over the world with resumes, cover letters, interview prep, negotiation sessions, LinkedIn, and career coaching. She has also served a guest speaker at various events to help educate colleges, universities, corporations, correctional institutions, and non-profit organizations on career development.
In addition to Christina’s 11 years of Human Resources experience, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from the University of New Haven, as well as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. Christina is also an award recipient from “100 Women of Color” and “Black People Rock Honors.” She is determined to continue educating her community in order to create positive change within marginalized groups for years to come.
Brittney White, LMSW
Career Consulting Assistant
Brittney White joined C3 in April 2020 to help support C3’s mission by providing additional resume services and overall career consulting assistance. Brittney is the Founder of Robinson Management Group (RMG) designed to execute private contract writing, consulting, event planning, and overall management of professionals in the entertainment business. She also has 11 years of experience in the social services, mental health, youth development, and executive administration industry; with a solid reputation of keeping information confidential while providing high-quality support in all fields.
Brittney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Quinnipiac University. She has also served as C3’s Lead Event Coordinator which successfully hosted and impacted hundreds of attendees. With Brittney’s diverse professional background in various industries, close attention to detail, and experience in providing consulting to others in her own business, she continuously provides clients with the additional support that they can count on no matter what career field they are in.
